We have an opportunity for a Sous chef to join our very experienced kitchen team.

This can be a full or part time appointment

 

The successful applicant, must have, 2/3 years’ experience working in catering, be able & willing to attain the capability to cook from fresh and to get involved in all aspects of our busy kitchen.

 

In return you will be encouraged to further enhance your own skills, to have an active input into menu formulation, with the opportunity of promotion according to attitude and skill levels achieved.

You will work a 5 day week, with every Monday off (except bank holidays), plus one other day per week by rotation.

We close on Christmas day so you can enjoy the day with your family

 

The position is hourly paid, which will be commensurate with your skill levels, with regular wage reviews and is ideal for someone wishing to expand their own knowledge and capabilities.
 

The venue is a country pub – restaurant, so own transport is essential

The successful applicant, must have, at least 3 years experience working in the pub / restaurant hospitality business, 

Ideally hold a personal licence and be capable of working in all aspects of the front of house side of the business

You will work a 42-hour week, with every Monday off (except bank holidays), plus one other day per week by rotation.

We close on Christmas day so you can enjoy the day with your family

 

In return you will be encouraged to further enhance your own skills, with the opportunity of promotion according to attitude and skill levels achieved.

Hourly rate will be commensurate with your experience and skill levels, with regular wage reviews.
